No, if you want a piece of acrylic (Plexiglas, etc.) or for a water-based liquid that harden and adhere to glass and wood. It will not be easy to find a sheet of Plexiglas * * so thick that unless maybe go to a store touch plastics such as plastic. (I guess you can always thin sheets stack together, but do not know if there would be a visual distortion when the thickness of an inch.) You can use an adhesive clear if they comply the layers of glass or wood … Perhaps part of the epoxy-2 or E6000. You can use a resin and create the size and shape you want (all are naturally adhesive resins, but it is preferable to seal or paint any bare wood before using it with the resin, since they are porous, if not necessariliy will not be as good.). For some thing as thick as a "you probably want a * * polyester resin instead of epoxy resin (such as" resin high bar "or EnviroTex Lite), but you is facing problems on the surface after cooking if you leave the area exposed to air during drying. I can not say if you want to use a craft polyester resin (such Castin Craft 'Clear Polyester Casting resin) or according to exactly the type of polyester resin usually used for the manufacture of glass fiber (which are sold in automotive stores Shop ships, etc..)
