Is it acceptable to put bridal registry information in with the wedding invitations?
It’s alot easier, but does it seem too tacky? The only thing i’m sending people are the actual wedding invitations. The registry info is just 2 little cards for the stores we registered at, not something physically on the invitation.
I am about to send out invitations soon and am struggling with this as well. It’s probably not proper to include it with the invitation, however, just about every invitation I have received has had the information somewhere (not on the invitation itself, but on an insert with the map or whatever). We’re thinking about doing that sticker idea someone else mentioned..a clear sticker with the registries on it, nothing big, and putting it on the bottom of our insert that has directions to the reception on it. We’d rather save our guests from having to hunt to find where we’re registered. Just take a look at the people you’re inviting and think how they’d feel. I don’t think my fiance or my family will think it’s tacky, so we’ll probably go with that. Don’t worry too much about it, it’s a small detail when you have so many other things going on.
